Maxim’s experienced caregivers will give you or your loved one the necessary assistance at home to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle. Maxim Companion Services in Los Angeles County provides non-medical assistance at home. We provide care for seniors, as well as new and expectant parents in the greater Los Angeles area including: Malibu, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Altadena, Glendora, Rancho Palos Verdes, Long Beach Calabasas, Granada Hills, and anywhere else throughout the county! Medication reminders, entertaining activities, and light housekeeping are just some of the many non-medical services that our Companions perform. Our most requested services are: grooming, transportation (to and from appointments, daily activities, and social gatherings), 24 hour live-in companionship, and personal care (bathing and dressing). We also provide respite care to provide family caregivers relief from the often intense routine of caring for their loved ones.
Maxim’s staff is equipped to handle the needs of regular daily living activities, as well as more technical requirements. Our caregivers are experienced and undergo continuous training in handling the non-medical homecare needs of people living with illnesses such as: Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Respiratory distress, Quadriplegia, Multiple sclerosis, and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) just to name a few!
Maxim’s clients find comfort knowing that they are working with experienced companion care providers who are dependable and qualified. Our Los Angeles County Companion branch belongs to local and national organizations including several Chambers of Commerce and local senior centers throughout LA County, the Alzheimer’s Association, SCAN Health Plan, the California Association of Health Services At Home (CAHSAH), the American Board of Home Care (ABHC).
You can depend on Maxim to assign Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Caregivers who are qualified and compassionate. All of our staff is bonded, insured, and licensed (when applicable). We conduct pre-employment nationwide background checks and continue to do so frequently throughout our caregivers’ employment. We will compare your preferences to our caregivers’ qualifications striving to ensure the most compatible match.
Our Home Care Services Include:
• Helping start the day and end the day (getting out of and into bed, dressing)
